Lia führt ein ganz normales Leben. Sie arbeitet und kümmert sie sich liebevoll um ihre Tochter. Als sie ihre Eltern besucht, wird sie allerdings daran erinnert, dass ihr Leben doch nicht ganz normal ist. Vor Jahren hatte Lia einen Autounfall, seither ist ihre linke Gesichtshälfte vernarbt. Vor allem die überbesorgte Mutter verunsichert ihre Tochter, so dass die Folgen des Unfalls Lia plötzlich wieder heftig belasten und die Verzweiflung schließlich aus ihr heraus bricht.
